OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP

1. To promote the theoretical and methodological debate on the experiences of community socio-cultural work in national and international contexts, with emphasis on the promotion of culture as a basis for social development.

2. Promote a space for dialogue about Appreciative Inquiry as a methodology of positive change in social and organizational contexts.

3. To discuss and exchange views on new ways of teaching methodology of social research, stages and processes of construction of new methodological strategies, new methods, new epistemologies and methodologies used in the study of the various expressions of the socio- historical current transformations.

4. Analyze the major contemporary trends in teaching foreign languages ​​and development prospects for Higher Education through exchange of practical experiences and research results that foster international cooperation among institutions, entities, organizations and universities in order to raise the quality.

5. Contribute to socialization and discussion on the rationale for continuous improvement of the political and legal system of contemporary society, under the rule of law, and their training in the new generations.

6. To discuss about the importance of scientific design strategies in mediating conflicts in the centers of higher education, to facilitate their inclusion in programs and policies to prevent violence in universities, from the characteristics of university and state of the art of these programs and political contexts.

PANELI. SOCIO-CULTURAL COMMUNITY WORK

Objectives

1. Contribute to the development of theoretical and methodological basis for community work, with emphasis on the promotion of culture as a basis for social development.

2. To promote dialogue and debate on experiences of community social work.

3. To exchange experiences about the training of skills for community social work, both in universities and community spaces.

4. To highlight the role of community projects as essential for local development entities.

Specific themes

1. Theory and Methodology for community social work.

2. Culture as an essential issue in the community social work.

3. Socio-cultural projects as managers of community development: experiences, challenges and prospects.

4. Background of community social work: a historical look.

During the event, the First International Symposium of Community cultural work will be developed, organized by the Department of Socio-Cultural Studies. At the opening of this colloquium will be helda masterly lecture: "Human sciences in the University of the XXIst Century" by PhD. Jorge Moreno Aragon.

Objectives

1. Promote a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences on Appreciative Inquiry as a methodology of positive change in social and organizational contexts.

2. Recognize the value of organizational development in incorporating methods that maximize the positive potential of workers to promote change, the development of creativity, innovation, leadership, team building and integrated strategic planning.

3. Acquire skills to use Appreciative Inquiry in times of organizational change, strengthening of working groups and other organizational processes.

1. Theoretical framework of Appreciative Inquiry.

2. Methodological Foundations of the proposal. Group construction stages of from Appreciative Inquiry.

3. Application of Appreciative Inquiry in social and organizational contexts.

3. Promote a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences on improving the legal system and protection of rights.

4. To exchange experiences on methodological and theoretical proposals practices regarding legal education

1. Legal Improvement of the functioning of the state and its organs of power.

2. Basic principles for enhancing the protection of fundamental rights. Historical, theoretical and comparative looks.

3. Challenges for the improvement of private law.

4. Experiences on perfecting the legal system and the protection of rights: the role of jurists towards new challenges.

PANEL VI: STUDIES ON THE PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE IN UNIVERSITIES

Objectives

1. -Analyze the state of the art programs of prevention of violence in universities, from theoretical assumptions and experience in design and implementation, for establishing agreements and regulations as part of university policies to prevent violence.

2. -Discuss the importance of scientific design strategies in mediating conflicts in universities, using creative techniques in order of their inclusion in programs and prevention policies.

3. -Assess the role of citizen participation in university research on violence, taking into account experience and research, for the purpose of their inclusion in strategies, programs and prevention policies at universities.

4.- Reflecting on university policies of prevention of violence, taking as its starting point the contextual specificities of higher education institutions involved, with the aim of strengthening research on regional policies to prevent violence in universities.
